Wild Wild West Marathon - 50K, 15 mile, 10 mile & 3 mile fun run

A trail race that goes through the great Alabama Hills and the foothills of Mt. Whitney. Water stops every three miles. There is a 50K, a marathon, a fifteen mile, a ten mile and a 3 mile race. Something for every runner and the trail is walker friendly. If you want clean air safe surroundings and beautiful scenery. If you and your family would like to enjoy a day of running or you want to run a challenging race this is the place to be the first Saturday of every May.

In 2007 the long held marathon record was broken by Dan Yarborough from Bishop CA.

The parade starts at 1pm in front of the high school and everyone is invited to enter the parade

Saddle up your horse, decdorate you float or gussie up and walk to celebrate the joy ofpets at Christmas in Lone Pine.
